Our Services

The HOPE House was created to offer women a place to practice their newly acquired sober living skills in the safety of a managed, independent-living environment. We guide women into the foundation of their twelve-step program and reinforce the necessity of the life-saving tools. Our purpose is to teach and nurture their new way of life without the use of drugs and alcohol. We encourage women to incorporate the spiritual principles of the twelve steps into all of their affairs. This gives them a chance to become strong in their recovery before returning home or embarking on a new, healthy life.

Living Skills

We hold a mandatory weekly living skills meeting where house issues are solved. We learn in recovery that basic living skills are a necessary discipline, help build self-esteem, and teach us accountability. We lovingly re-integrate women into the how-tos of daily living.

Relapse Prevention

We offer a mandatory weekly relapse prevention group unless you are in an intensive out-patient program on that night. Alumni are encouraged and do continue to come long after they have left the house.

Group Activities

We encourage women to get involved with the sober communities by participating and/or serving in organized events.

Location

Residences are located close to recovery club houses and many church meetings. There is easy access to public transportation.

Alternative Healing

We have developed a network of reputable healing specialists in areas to meet individual needs.

Social Services

Managers have thorough knowledge of social services in local areas. Some women may be eligible for assistance.

Senior Sister System

We encourage the women with more sobriety or clean time to take on a lead position of responsibility in the houses. It enables women to be accountable to one another, not just to authority figures. Additionally, it offers them a second phase of independence in sober living.

Mind, Body, & Spirit

Living clean and sober is a process. We encourage healing on all levels. We have access to local zumba and yoga classes, and discount memberships to various fitness centers.

Housing

The HOPE House comprises separate houses so the women are encouraged to learn to function as a healthy family. Everyone at the HOPE House is equal and there are no "private" rooms.

College

We encourage women to start or continue college after they have a solid start on their step work and a relationship with their sponsors.

Living in Paradise

In addition to being the “recovery capital of the country,” Palm Beach County, from Boca Raton to Palm Beach Gardens, is full of worship centers, universities, gardens, theaters, museums, spectacular beaches, and shopping! There are a multitude of resort and hotel accommodations for visiting families.
